01 · Welcome Note
A message from
the Founder
“Welcome to Lumotis — and congratulations on taking this step.
You’re not here to fetch coffee or fill spreadsheets. You’re here because we believe in the potential of sharp, curious, motivated young professionals — and we want to give you a real experience that shapes your career.
At Lumotis, we move fast. We build brands, grow apps, run campaigns, and solve real problems every single day. During your time here, you will be treated as a contributor, not just a trainee. Your ideas will be heard. Your work will be shipped. Your growth will be our responsibility.
We ask only one thing in return: show up with intent. Be curious. Ask questions. Own your work. Make mistakes — and learn from them faster than anyone expects.
The best interns we’ve had didn’t just complete tasks. They took initiative, asked ‘what else can I do?’, and left with skills, confidence, and references that opened real doors for them.
That’s what I want for you. Welcome to the team.”

05 · Code of Conduct
How we carry
ourselves
Culture is built by behaviours, not policies. At Lumotis, we expect every team member — intern or full-time — to uphold these standards every day.
🎯
Ownership Mindset
Treat every task as if it’s your business. Don’t wait to be told twice. If something’s broken, fix it or flag it.
⏰
Punctuality
On time = on time. Being late to meetings, submissions, or tasks sends a clear message. We value people who respect everyone’s time.
🤝
Respectful Communication
Be direct, kind, and constructive. Disagree professionally. Ego has no place in a startup. Listen more than you speak.
💼
Professionalism
Dress appropriately (office), communicate clearly, meet deadlines, and always represent Lumotis with pride — online and offline.
🔒
Confidentiality
Client data, business strategies, financial info, and internal processes are strictly confidential. Sharing any of this externally is a serious violation.
📵
No Misuse of Data
Company tools, accounts, and data are for work only. No personal use, screenshots for social sharing, or access beyond your work scope.
⚠️
Zero Tolerance: Harassment, discrimination, data theft, plagiarism, and misrepresentation of work will result in immediate termination of internship and forfeiture of all completion benefits. Lumotis maintains a respectful, inclusive environment — always.
ℹ️
Social Media: You are welcome to share your internship experience on LinkedIn. Please get approval before sharing any campaign results, client names, or brand-specific work publicly. Use your judgement — when in doubt, ask.
08 · Performance Scorecard
Your weekly
performance score
Every intern is evaluated weekly on a 100-point scorecard. This score is not just a number — it directly determines your certificate, recommendation, and future opportunities.
Were all assigned tasks completed on time and to the expected quality standard? Includes accuracy, completeness, and attention to brief.
Did the intern show curiosity, take on extra tasks voluntarily, ask meaningful questions, research topics independently, and apply learnings actively?
📣
Communication & Reporting
15 pts
Were EOD reports submitted daily? Was communication clear, professional, and timely? Did the intern proactively update their manager on blockers?
📅
Attendance & Punctuality
15 pts
Full attendance = full points. Late arrivals, unexcused absences, and missed check-ins reduce this score. Consistency is rewarded.
Did the intern bring creative ideas, suggest improvements, take ownership without being asked, and show a ‘builder’ mindset beyond their job scope?

💬 Weekly Self-Review Questions
1.What was your biggest win this week?
2.What did you find challenging?
3.What did you learn?
4.What support do you need from your manager?
5.How would you rate your own performance (1–10)?
💡
Pro tip: Interns who come to weekly reviews having already thought through their wins, challenges, and questions always get more out of the session. Prepare 2–3 things you want feedback on. The best conversations start when you bring a point of view.

Early exit without notice will result in forfeiture of all completion benefits. Lumotis reserves the right to withhold the certificate in cases of abrupt departure that disrupts live projects.
7 days written notice required
Handover of all pending work mandatory
NDA remains in force post-exit
ℹ️
Our intent: We do not want to terminate anyone’s internship. Every warning, PIP, and review is designed to help you improve — not to build a case against you. If you’re struggling, talk to your manager early. We’d rather course-correct than let a good person go.
